On Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 12:00-1:00pm ET, we invite you to join a conversation that brings together community members, manufacturers, ecosystem partners, and industry allies to discuss the future of local production and manufacturing in and around Pittsburgh. Building on what we have learned in our three recent Pittsburgh Local Lab Listening Sessions and early interviews, this conversation aims to bridge community voices with industry perspectives to collectively imagine a more inclusive, resilient, and people-centered industrial future.

Who is invited?

All stakeholders within the Pittsburgh region that are interested in the future of their region.

Agenda

By attending the Feb 26 discussion, participants will:

  • Learn About Mechanism’s Local Lab Process: Attendees will learn more about Mechanism’s Local Lab structure, goals, and ways to contribute.
  • Learn About Our Findings So Far: The Mechanism team will also share high-level findings from the interviews we’ve completed.
  • Shape Local Lab Direction: You will contribute directly to defining the goals, priorities, and outcomes of the ongoing Local Lab — helping to ensure future strategies reflect the real experiences and aspirations of people and communities in the region.
  • Build Cross-Sector Relationships: Connect with a wide range of stakeholders — community leaders, business owners, intermediaries, policymakers, and advocates — to spark collaboration, inform resource alignment, and strengthen networks that support inclusive local economies.
