State of Urban Manufacturing City Snapshot: Philadelphia

As part of the State of Urban Manufacturing study undertaken in 2016, UMA collected information directly from hundreds of manufacturers across six pilot cities—including more than 100 in Philadelphia—on the nature of their businesses and the challenges they face. This City Snapshot highlights the findings from the Philadelphia survey and is intended to help local stakeholders identify actions that they might take to nurture the small- and medium-scale manufacturing sector.
