Mapping Cincinnati's Manufacturing Support Ecosystem

As part of its State of Urban Manufacturing study in 2018, the UMA research team spoke with 36 organizations in Cincinnati that support manufacturers. They collected information about the types of services each organization offered, specific programs within each category, specific manufacturing subsectors each organization might focus on, and whether the organization served the entire city, specific neighborhoods, or particular types of manufacturers. The information provided by these organizations informed the following Ecosystem Map, which is intended to help producers and the organizations that support them match the right resources to businesses’ needs.
