Patricia Bordallo Dibildox
Program Associate
Patricia Bordallo Dibildox is a Mexican-born creative, educator, and organizer based in Kansas City, MO. Her work lives at the intersection of cultural practice, community care, and equitable development.
Patricia brings experience in political organizing, arts administration, and hands-on manufacturing. She has led tenant organizing campaigns, managed electoral campaigns, and facilitated accessible community workshops on quilting, natural dyeing, and repair. Her background includes operating industrial sewing equipment at a small soft goods business and co-founding artist-led initiatives that uplift collective making and learning.
As a Programs Associate at Mechanism, Patricia supports the design and delivery of events and projects that prioritize the well-being of people, communities, and the planet. She sees Mechanism's work as a rare and vital space where thoughtful infrastructure, collaboration, and economic justice intersect to create a more inclusive and people-centered manufacturing future.
Outside of Mechanism, Patricia continues to maintain a studio practice rooted in natural dyes and quilting. She lives in a sunny apartment with her partner Max, where they drink lots of matcha, listen to ambient music, and share a deep love of public pools, dogs, and slow days in the sun.
