Louisa Caçoilo is a dedicated leader in finance and operations, who brings expertise in financial strategy and ecosystem building to Mechanism.

As Vice President of Finance & Operations at Echoing Green, she supports emerging leaders across sectors, accelerating their impact through strategic investment and organizational development. Louisa previously served as Vice President of Finance, Strategy & Operations at P33, a nonprofit focused on driving inclusive growth in Chicago’s tech sector. Her leadership in entrepreneurial ecosystem building has earned her recognition as a 40 Under 40 Urban Elite Professional, a Black Tech Futures Research Institute Fellow, a Kauffman ESHIP Champion, and an Edwardson Civic Scholar at the Chicago Booth School of Business. She has extensive experience in impact investing, nonprofit finance, and strategic operations, positioning her as a key advocate for equitable economic development.

Louisa believes that Mechanism is unique because of its people. She sees manufacturing as a team sport—one that depends on collaboration across sectors, from economic development and workforce to community organizing and entrepreneurship. She values Mechanism’s role in convening this diverse network to share ideas, surface solutions, and scale what works, ensuring manufacturing remains a powerful engine for inclusive, community-rooted prosperity.
